Sassy Angel | Original Hand-Layered Vinyl on Cradled Birch Panel

Gold leaf street art, found on a wall in Florence — three streets from a museum full of the official version. A spray-can angel on a gilded ground, hemmed in by tags and completely untroubled by them. The city that invented the gold ground got painted over the top of it, and the angel held her position.

Rendered in gold, periwinkle, charcoal and berry pink. The halo drawn in a single gesture. The tags left exactly where they were sprayed.

Original hand-layered, heat-fused vinyl artwork developed through a progressive sweep of color. The heat-fusing process creates variations unique to each piece—subtle shifts in translucence, surface texture, and depth that cannot be replicated.

Due to the nature of this artistic technique, each original carries distinct markings that become part of its character. Each piece carries a unique number which is signed and dated on the back of the piece and is recorded in the studio register.
