About Botanical Mouth

I make bold botanical and coastal art for people who refuse to choose between sophisticated and audacious. Elegant on the wall, and never quiet about it.

Each piece begins with real botanicals, deconstructed and rebuilt as hand-layered vinyl on cradled birch panels—color applied in a deliberate, progressive sweep, each layer building on the last until only the essential remains. The result is graphic, bold, and deceptively simple.

I spent years as a florist, close enough to stems and petals to know exactly how a flower is built. That is why I can take one apart and put it back together as something graphic and deliberate. The elegance isn't decoration. It's structure.

And then there's Kiki. She's the muse, the mouth, and the reason a good deal of this exists—curious, well-dressed, permanently distracted by beautiful things, and never short of an opinion. She travels. She collects. Some days she says what she's thinking. Other days she lets the flowers do the talking.

Expert in botanicals. Fluent in personality.
